Synopsis

Since the Edo periods of Japan, gladiator arenas exist in certain areas. In these arenas, wealthy business owners and merchants hire gladiators to fight in unarmed combat where winner takes all. Toki Taouma, nicknamed "Ashura", joins these arenas and devastates his opponents. He’s picked up by Hideki Nogi of the Nogi Group, and they team up with Kazuo Yamashita, this nervous, everyday dude who becomes Ohma’s manager. Part 1 has Ohma throwing down with wild matchups—street brawlers, pro wrestlers like Jun Sekibayashi (that guy’s a tank!), and all kinds of styles clashing. I was screaming when Ohma got tossed into a room with 100+ fighters, and only five could make it out for the tournament. Pure chaos, and I loved every second!

Part 2 cranks it up with the tournament’s start. Cosmo Imai, the jujitsu whiz, vs. Adam Dudley, the hulking American brawler—my heart was racing!
