Hey, fight fans and anime junkies! Buckle up, because I’m about to gush about Kengan Ashura Season 1, Parts 1 and 2—the wildest, bone-crunching, adrenaline-pumping ride in the underground fighting world! I binged this bad boy on Netflix, and holy smokes, I’m still buzzing from the epic battles and crazy vibes. If you’re into martial arts, intense characters, and a story that hits harder than a knockout punch, this is your anime. Let’s break it down!

The Setup: Underground Fights and Corporate Chaos

Okay, so Kengan Ashura drops us into this insane world where big-shot companies settle their beef by hiring badass fighters to duke it out in the Kengan matches. We’re talking no rules, pure skill, and a whole lot of pain! Our main guy, Ohma Tokita, nicknamed “The Ashura,” is a beast who’s out to prove he’s the toughest. He’s picked up by Hideki Nogi of the Nogi Group, and they team up with Kazuo Yamashita, this nervous, everyday dude who becomes Ohma’s manager. From the get-go, I was hooked—business deals through brutal fights? Genius!

Part 1 (episodes 1-12) kicks off with Ohma’s debut, smashing through foes like Lihito, whose vice-grip hands are no joke. The stakes ramp up fast as Ohma fights to qualify for the Kengan Annihilation Tournament—a total brawl-fest to crown the king of fighters and give their sponsor control of Japan’s biz world. Part 2 (episodes 13-24) dives into the tournament’s early rounds, and let me tell you, it’s a slugfest of dreams!

The Fights: Jaw-Dropping Action

Guys, the battles are INSANE! Every punch, kick, and grapple feels like it’s coming right at you. Part 1 has Ohma throwing down with wild matchups—street brawlers, pro wrestlers like Jun Sekibayashi (that guy’s a tank!), and all kinds of styles clashing. I was screaming when Ohma got tossed into a room with 100+ fighters, and only five could make it out for the tournament. Pure chaos, and I loved every second!

Part 2 cranks it up with the tournament’s start. Cosmo Imai, the jujitsu whiz, vs. Adam Dudley, the hulking American brawler—my heart was racing! The mix of real martial arts like Muay Thai and jujitsu with over-the-top moves is so cool. The 3D animation took a minute to get used to, but once I did, the fluid moves and brutal impacts had me cheering. The way they show skill vs. will, speed vs. power—it’s like a live MMA match, but way bloodier and awesomer!

The Characters: Love These Guys!

Ohma’s my dude—stoic, crazy strong, and rocking that Niko Style fighting. His “I don’t care, I’ll win” vibe is so hype! Kazuo’s a riot, all nervous and out of his depth, but you can’t help rooting for him. The fighters are a blast too—Lihito’s cocky grin, Sekibayashi’s pro-wrestling flair, and all the quirky champs like Cosmo. Even the corporate bigwigs add drama, scheming behind the scenes. I’m obsessed with how every fighter’s got a story—some want glory, some cash, some just a good fight. It’s so raw and real!

The Vibes: Gritty and Fun

The music slaps—pumping you up for every hit. The gore and intensity are next-level, but there’s funny bits too, like Kazuo freaking out or fighters trash-talking. The story’s simple but gripping—Ohma and Kazuo’s journey through this cutthroat world kept me glued. Part 1 builds the hype, and Part 2 delivers with tournament brackets and surprises. Sure, the 3D can look odd next to 2D scenes, and some fights end quick, but I was too busy yelling at my screen to care!

Why I’m Obsessed

Kengan Ashura Season 1, Parts 1 and 2, is a knockout! From the crazy premise to the heart-pounding fights, I was all in. It’s got everything—action, drama, and characters you’ll cheer for ‘til your voice gives out. Released in 2019 by Larx Entertainment and streaming on Netflix, it’s 24 episodes of pure fire. I’d give it a solid 9/10—maybe it takes a sec to warm up, but once it hits, you’re hooked! If you love martial arts anime like Baki or just crave a wild ride, dive in. I can’t wait for more—Ohma’s gotta be the best, right? What’s your favorite fight? Let’s geek out together!

There you go, a fan-style review of Kengan Ashura Season 1, Parts 1 and 2! Hope you feel the hype—let me know if you want tweaks or more focus on something! What’s your take on this beast of a show?
